Terms and Conditions

Devsters Party – User agreement and terms & conditions.


The Client – by placing an order via website, email , Facebook or phone, agrees that they accept the conditions of the rental agreement as set out below. By making your deposit or full payment you are agreeing to the below terms.

DEPOSITS AND BOOKING
1, A 15% non-refundable deposit will be required in order to reserve your party date, this is payable by our Website, PayPal, bank transfer, or cash. If not received within 72 hours of your booking, your date and items will be released, and booking will not be confirmed.

2, On day of set up and delivery there will be a security/damages deposit required, this will be returned in part/full dependent on a check of all equipment at time of the collection.


3, The full balance will be due prior to delivery, if final payment is not received by this time, it will result in the cancellation of your party with no exception


4. Any changes to the booking must be received in writing and confirmed by Devsters Party prior to event.
5,All bookings are for a 24 hour period


6. All prices are subject to change, however prices quoted at the time of booking will always be honoured.


CANCELLATION: 

Cancellations can be made 14 days prior to the scheduled date but the 15% deposit is non-refundable, this may be applied towards the cost of another party if held within 90 days of the original party date, If you choose to cancel our services for any reason, your deposit will be forfeited.


Devsters Party reserves the right to cancel your party booking at any time, for any reason. We will always try to give as much notice as possible. Upon any such cancellation we will refund the Client any monies paid in respect of the party booking within 7 days, should any refund be Devsters Party will not be liable to pay any compensation to the Client or any other person for any loss, damage or expenditure arising directly or indirectly from the cancellation. Devsters Party reserves the right to terminate the booking without notice if there is a breach of these conditions.


DELIVERY AND SET UP:


1, Delivery, assembly, styling, collection, are included in the hire cost unless stated otherwise.


2, Prices include free delivery within a 5-mile radius of BS40, An additional travel charge will be added to deliveries outside these areas at 60p per mile (we are happy to quote)


3, Delivery times will be confirmed prior to your event. A 2-hour window for arrival will be given the day of delivery. The client is responsible for being present to accept delivery of the equipment.


4, It is the clients’ responsibility to check the site measurements for the required equipment, and to make sure there is adequate space surrounding our equipment. If sufficient space is not available at the event for the package ordered, we reserve the right to remove items at our discretion, upon doing a risk assessment for health and safety reasons, however you will be still charged for the items.


5, The time required for complete set up will vary with each event and can take between 1-2 hours, but may take more or less depending on the equipment ordered.


6, All floor areas must be clean from dirt, dust & furniture before setup begins. Devsters Party has the rights to refuse set up if the room is not clean or in a sanitary state, the party will not be refunded, but the deposit will be returned


7, All our equipment will be delivered in clean condition, , should there be significant dirt/staining upon collection the client will be made liable for cleaning/ repair works.


8, Our minimum delivery is £25 of equipment hire


9, We will make sure you are happy and all is as expected before we leave.


COLLECTION:


1, We will arrive the day after the party, or on the day of party as agreed at booking depending on equipment hired at an agreed time


2, A walk-through will be performed with the client prior to breakdown to confirm there are no damages or issues.

DAMAGES:


1, General cleaning of all items are included in the hire price.


2, The client will be responsible for the cost of replacing any of Devsters Party’s equipment damaged due to mistreatment while at the client’s premises. This includes breakages, damages or stains of any other Devsters Party equipment hired.


3, If any item is damaged or stained, charges will be deducted from the damages deposit to replace the item. If the cost of damages exceeds the amount of the damage deposit, an invoice will be sent to the client and must be paid within 7 days.


4, We politely request that there is no smoking around our equipment. This means in the room of setup or nearby (where smells may travel and linger). As our products are designed for the use of children, we have to uphold the highest standards. Any equipment found to have been around smoke will incur additional costs of £25 to cover deep cleaning.


5, It is the responsibility of the client to take duty of care and always supervise children with the hire equipment. Diligence must be taken with younger children on the client’s premises, as Devsters Party hire equipment is not recommended for children under the age of 4.


6, Assembly/Disassembly is the responsibility of the Devsters Party team. Please allow our staff to set up and pack up all items for your safety and to reduce the risk of damage.


7, We will require a security/damages deposit on the day (we will confirm amount dependent on booking normally will be either £50) this will be returned upon collection as long as no damages/stains.


8, please clear away any personal possessions and rubbish before our collection, and equipment to be left as we have left.
9. Please do not use any chemicals on or near equipment.


DISCLAIMER :
Devsters Party is not liable for any accidents that occur during said rental period. The client accepts all liability when renting from Devsters Party.


The client is responsible for the security of the equipment at all times during the rental period. Any lost, broken, damaged or destroyed equipment will be charged to the client at full replacement value.
